I was born in Holland, studied in Rotterdam and at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence, where I was introduced to the tools of the trade in making my own paints, mediums and varnishes, which I still do today.
I have worked in the UK since 1980.
One of my ongoing projects is to make an illuminated manuscript of the book of Revelation
