The captain — carrying the game of Monopoly under his arm, that he is going to play by himself (so that he can get all the streets) — is entering the ship over gold coins, that are being hoovered up from his followers, washed and laundered in the ship, hung up to dry and bagged up.

The digital tower with AI chip decorations (slightly see-through, as it is virtual), on the second floor, goes through the frame out into the sky, which is the limit. The ship seems to have its own cloud, with crows circling around the crow’s nest.

The king of fools, here given bloomers to wear and some lace —for the necessary feminine touch — is walking the plank. The orb in his hand, the world, has become pear-shaped and his sceptre is a large microphone.

The ship has one climate that doesn’t change, provided by the large photographer’s umbrella, the floodlights and heaters, while around the ship the marketplace follows the seasons. Among the followers are sheep and a few llamas that make their way to the wool stall. A writer on a balcony puts his sheets of paper on line to go to the bookbinders.

I am still not completely sure what the chickens are doing on the frame, although initially I was working in egg tempera but at least they are free range and unchlorinated.

A beautiful old bridge in the sunshine. Blue damselflies dance over the water. A strange group is crossing the bridge, with an ivory tower, a red horse and lots of people on their phones.
