Drawing Attention

Annelies Clarke is showing the making of her new painting 'The Ship of Fools in the Marketplace' with drawings, photos and instructions for traditional egg tempera and home-made oil paints.

The show also includes her Revelation triptych.

WORKSHOPS:

Workshops at St Andrew’s church

Fiona Springham — Sat 10 & 24 May 2025, 11.30 - 17.30

You will be making a lined draw string bag with a bit of "slow stitching" decoration. Materials will be provided. There will be two sewing machines, but do bring your own if you prefer. During the ‘slow stitching’ part there will be an opportunity to talk through/undertake simple projects. £15 per person

Annelies Clarke — Sat 17 May 2025, 14.00 - 16.00

After a short talk and demonstration you will be drawing something in waterproof ink and then do a watercolour wash over or around it. Materials will be provided, or bring your own, if you prefer.

There is space for six people, so book early. £15 per person
